CATCH IT | March 2016

March is an exciting month filled with endless reasons to celebrate. For some it's showing a love of four-leaf clovers. For others it's being showered with Easter eggs and chocolate bunnies. For everyone, it's the celebration of spring's return—a lovey time in the San Francisco Bay area!

For children and their parents/loved ones, spring also brings with it Youth Art Month (YAM). The Youth Art Month Program emphasizes the value of art education for all children while promoting support for quality school art programs and art material safety—What a cool initiative to participate in! We here at Make Studio Inc. are excited to bring awareness to such a worthy cause. On a side note, if you don't have kids but want to get involved, volunteer time at a meaningful organization, such as Kids & Art.

A few March highlights: The Asian Art Museum and De Young Museum in San Francisco are featuring new exhibits. Additionally, the Berkeley Art Museum & Pacific Film Archive is hosting Family Fare on the second Saturday of each month throughout spring. See details below.

Happy Art Sharing and of course, Happy Spring!
